As per i will be talking about in the presentation this week, this is the main advantages that i find in CSS.
1)Page Formatting
All it takes is one or a few lines to give the desired page a new look. Things like Font used, text size, and colors can be adjusted with little effort.
2)Positioning
With WYSIWYG programs like dreamweaver nowadays, positioning is just a matter of clicking and dragging, back in the days of non CSS trying to get things into position requires quite a bit of hassle as will be shown in the presentation.
3)Consistency
The whole span of the website can be given a consistent look with just referring to the .css files and making subtle changes like the movement of the tabs on links you clicked on.
4)Bandwidth
.css files are small and saved on your caches, so loading and bandwidth usage is minimized.
5)Ease of use
You don't have to know how to make one to use one, many websites like blogger allow clicking to change CSS behinds the scenes.
6)Separates Design and Style from Content
Self explainatory, can just keep pumping content without having to worry about style.
